I have this long-overdue weird craving for Frazzled Cook even if I haven't tried it myself. I've been across too many reviews about this place, good and bad, and promised myself that 1 day I'll head to North and try it.
Good thing I had this weekend freed up so I took the chance to explore Quezon City, particularly, Timog-Scout Rallos area. Since I've never tried Frazzled Cook and personally do not know anyone who've tried it, I prepared so much I had to read lots of reviews to finally decide and set my mind on what to order. Thanks to Looloo, I was able to narrow down my choices!

• Cheeselogs (P125) - I got surprised when I was served with mozarella sticks-looking dish. I was expecting for something else. I guess I got too excited by the name and forgot to read the description on the menu. If you were a Paulinian, you'd probably understand why the word "cheeselogs" had a different effect on me. I was expecting a stuffed bread with cheese/cheese and pepperoni with marinara sauce on the side, but NO, this was a different cheeselog!!! Oh well, the dish redeemed itself when I had my first bite. It was not what I expected at first but it was also something more than what I expected after. The cheese was good, it tasted like local cheese, but it went well with the breading and it was served fresh from the pan so it made a wonderful dish. I didn't like the dip though. It was too fresh for me that I didn't like the taste of the salsa anymore. But still sulit!!! I had three leftovers and placed it in the ref...the next day, I decided to eat it for breakfast and it was still in its best form! Not melting in my mouth kinda drama but the taste was still fresh and good! Sarap ilagay sa tinapay, if you want to be creative with what you have. Lol • Truffle Pasta (P295) - This was the most talked about dish on Looloo so I decided to go for it even if it was a very tricky dish! I only believe in the power of Mamou's truffle pasta and have not found anything better than it but still gave this dish a try. It was not as bad as you might think but it lacked something. I guess the amount of sauce? And I guess the kind of pasta used didn't match the kind of sauce so it made it seemed dry. I forgot to ask for parmesan cheese and chili flakes so now I'm wondering whether that would make a diff or not. • Lengua with Mushroom and Corn (P350) - THIS IS MY FAVORITE! 4/5!! The sauce was a bit salty for me but it went well with the mashed potato. All in all, it was a very tasty dish that I'd definitely order when I go back to Frazzled. • Homemade Iced Tea (P85/glass) - Again, another one of the most talked about on Looloo. Everyone kept saying that they have the best Iced Tea but if you really want my honest opinion, then it is not certainly the best homemade iced tea! I'd still get the Libertea Iced Tea of Army Navy over this! IT WAS JUST TOO SWEET. Please note, it didn't even taste like homemade iced tea to me. ?
Even though the food was not highly commendable, the ambiance was. They have really cute designs and furnitures. I can't help but wonder how the place looked like before it got transformed to a restaurant. I kept imagining how each room was filled with different home decors and what each rooms function was!!! It was really cool and pretty!
Overall, I'd like to think that this place is loved by many because they really enjoy the food and ambiance. But personally, I think that this place is a little too overpriced and hyped. I can easily get the food they have from different restaurants that are cheaper and more exciting!
